DRY-D 500 is an herbicide activator, specially designed for use with glyphosate or a mix of glyphosate and hormonal herbicides.

The water used to prepare the herbicides mixture, whether from surface sources (streams, creeks, reservoirs, artificial ponds) or groundwater (boreholes, wells) is usually of inadequate quality so that glyphosate may act properly. Therefore, it is highly recommendable to condition water with DRY-D 500, which helps prevent hard water cations from interfering with the glyphosate and accelerates uptake of glyphosate by the leaves of weeds. Ammonium sulfate, the main component of DRY-D 500, is a recognized enhancer of the glyphosate to achieve maximum efficiency in the control of weeds. In addition, DRY-D 500 has surfactants to achieve greater dispersion of the droplets on the leaf surface.
