Inoculants / SiLAGE / LACTOSILO
LACTOSILO is an inoculant based on 6 species of live lactic bacteria in a concentration of 1 x 109 CFU/g and a multi-enzyme complex at 4%. The Lactobacilli species used in the formulation of LACTOSILO have been selected for their efficiency in the production of lactic acid, thus achieving a rapid decrease in pH, necessary for adequate preservation of grain and forage. This significantly reduces growth of undesirable microorganisms such as fungi and other bacteria that deteriorate silage and produce harmful mycotoxins. The cellulolytic multi-enzyme complex acts on structural carbohydrates increasing the availability of fermentable sugars for lactobacilli.
A particular feature of LACTOSILO is that lactobacilli in the formulation are in a metabolically active state, which allows immediate start of their activity once conditions for fermentation are achieved (anaerobiosis). Another very important advantage of LACTOSILO is its formulation, which facilitates preparation and does not create blocking problems of application equipment nozzles.
